Our Leadership
Our Boy Scout Troop is run by the Scouts with the guidance of adult volunteers. Boy Scout patrol and troop meetings are intended to be an activity for youth. They are not a family activity, and the presence of parents can be a distraction. However, parental involvement is not forbidden. If a parent or guardian would like to be present during a troop meeting, they should consult with the Scoutmaster in advance so a way can be arranged for them to observe. There also might be provision for them to register for a position on the troop committee or as an assistant Scoutmaster. There are always ways for your parent or guardian to be involved. Parents are encouraged to join our Troop committee and help oversee proper operation and ensure a safe and fun program.
Please note your son’s safety and well being our very important to us. We follow all BSA guidelines when it comes to safety and child protection as well as every volunteer must complete an application and pass the PA Child Abuse Clearances below.
- Report of Criminal History from PA State Police
- Child Abuse History Clearance from the Department of Human Services
- FBI Fingerprinting – Code 1KG6ZJ (Required if you have resided in the state of Pennsylvania for less than ten consecutive years)
- FBI Fingerprint waiver (If you have resided in the state of Pennsylvania for ten or more consecutive years)
